Why you NEED another shotgun

Let’s face it, you’re not going to be successful at fighting zombies with a katana. I don’t care how many movies you’ve seen, learning to fight and win with any kind of edged weapon takes lots of training. Unless you’re going to spend a year of weekends studying the art of the blade, the first zombie to shuffle by is going to have you for lunch.

By all means, have a pistol and a rifle. You might get lucky and headshot a zed way out there with your .223, and a good pistol or large-bore revolver slows them down up close. But real zombie hunters know – it’s the 12-gage or nothing.

Can’t have too many, either. I keep one for myself and my wife, as well as one per vehicle. Pump shotgun, 12-gage, everybody needs a couple. Puts the dead back in Undead.

Sewer Zombie

“Something” in the sewers in Sussex:

…staff at a sewage works have called in a ghostbuster because they are being stalked by a zombie-like figure who roams the underground tunnels.

Perfect place for Necro activity.  I never put much stock in the “English zombies are faster” argument, and this one might put that old myth to rest, so to speak.

Looks like a team of Zombie hunters got a bellyful in Kosovo over the weekend.  Popping Zeds is dangerous enough without trying to do it in a crowd, without the proper weapons, without a strong purpose and a tactical plan.
